Terms & Conditions

These Terms govern your use of the Genie marketing website (the “Site”) operated by Indigo Labs Ltd (“Indigo Labs”, “we”, “us”, “our”), a company registered in England and Wales. By using the Site or joining the Genie waiting list, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Site.

1. About us

Indigo Labs Ltd is registered in England and Wales. You can contact us at genie@indigolabs.ai. Our company website is indigo-labs.co.uk.

2. The Site

The Site provides information about Genie, a hardware product currently in pre-order, and lets you join a waiting list to be notified when Genie ships. The Site does not currently sell goods or take payment. Sale of Genie hardware will be governed by separate purchase terms presented to you at the time you place an order.

3. Joining the waiting list

By submitting your email address to our waiting list you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years old.
• The email address you provide is yours and is accurate.
• You consent to us emailing you about Genie’s release, your invitation to confirm a pre-order, and substantive product updates while your entry is active.

Joining the waiting list does not create a contract of sale, does not reserve a unit, and does not require any payment. We will offer waiting list members a window to confirm their pre-order before general release; details will be communicated by email when Genie is ready to ship.

You can ask us to remove your email from the waiting list at any time by emailing genie@indigolabs.ai. We process your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

4. Pricing and product information

Prices, specifications, and shipping windows shown on the Site (including £49.99 for the lamp and 99p per month for the calendar service) are indicative and subject to change before Genie becomes generally available. We will confirm the final price and ship date in writing before you place a pre-order. All prices are quoted in pounds sterling and include UK VAT where applicable.

Product imagery, animations, and visual mock-ups on the Site are illustrative. The final product, including the choice of base colours, may differ from what is shown.

5. Permitted use of the Site

You agree not to:

• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose, or in any way that infringes the rights of any third party.
• Submit anyone else’s email address to the waiting list without their permission.
• Attempt to interfere with, probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Site or our infrastructure, including the waiting list form.
• Use automated means, including bots or scrapers, to access the Site other than for legitimate search-engine indexing.
• Reproduce, copy, or republish any content from the Site without our prior written permission, beyond the limited use needed to view it in your browser.

We may suspend or refuse access to anyone who breaches these Terms.

6. Intellectual property

All content on the Site (including text, illustrations, animations, the Genie name, and the Indigo Labs name and logo) is owned by or licensed to Indigo Labs Ltd. Nothing on the Site grants you any rights in that content other than the right to view it on a personal device.

7. Linked sites

The Site may contain links to third-party websites (for example, Google Calendar, Microsoft 365, iCloud, or our company site). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of those websites.

8. Site availability

We do our best to keep the Site available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site (including the waiting list form) without notice.

9. Our liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for:

• Death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
• Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
• Any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under English law (including under the Consumer Rights Act 2015).

Subject to that, the Site is provided on an “as is” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied warranties and are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising out of your use of the Site, or for any business loss (such as loss of profits, revenue, business opportunity, or goodwill).

If you are using the Site as a consumer, this clause does not affect your statutory rights.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Significant changes will be communicated via the Genie waiting list email where appropriate. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute arising out of them or your use of the Site are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
